A note from a Friend

I came into work this morning and found this foreign sticky on my monitor. A purple one with silver magic marker, reminding me to "smile." What some of you may not know about me is that I don't smile often. I smile when I hear a joke. I smile when my friends tell me something funny. I smile when I see a friend I haven't seen in a long time. Or I smile when I talk to a customer with a funny name, like "Tringo Fidalgo."

But naturally? No, I don't smile.

It doesn't mean I'm depressed or angry; far from it. I'm quite happy with the way my life is currently going. It could improve but whose couldn't? The reason I don't smile often is because it's just not how I express my natural; day by day happniness. I do my writing. I do my drawing. I do my breathing. Everything that makes me content. When I am writing or drawing, sometimes I do look quite angry, I've been told. Angry enough to kill someone.

I don't REALLY want to kill anybody. I'm just concentrating. :)

So, thank you, kind friend to whoever left me the sticky note. In typical High School fashion, I'm sure the sticky-giver probably won't reveal their indentity, in some interesting way of letting me "guess" who it is. My friends? I gave up such games in high school, so don't expect me to "guess."

However, I think I already know who it is and I will thank her accordingly for her kind reminder for me to smile.

:)

See?

awww isn't that nice.

In relation to your blog. I don't smile often either. Sometimes I get annoyed easily though so that could be why.
